The Central Site Computing Center, located on the first floor of the Graduate College of Social Work, will be moving into the basement of M.D. Anderson Memorial Library during the summer.

Group lauds prof for literary work

Indian-American scholar honored for advancing English-language literacy

Creative writing professor Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni was honored by the Literacy Advance of Houston last Friday for her contributions to the literary community.

Divakaruni, who was a poet before becoming a novelist, has won several awards, including the Pushcart Prize, the Allen Ginsberg Poetry Award as well as recognition from the Gerbode Foundation Award, among other accomplishments. (0) comments

UH forms institution for medical imaging

Cornell University, Methodist Hospital are also involved in biomedical project for early disease detection

The University has announced that it has partnered with Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University and Methodist Hospital to found the Institute for Biomedical Imaging Sciences.
