Movie review: Recreating a classic vision with 'Fantasia 2000' When people hear the word IMAX, they don't normally think of full-length
movies, but Disney hopes to change that with Fantasia 2000. Seeing
the lights rise on the seven-story-tall screen, you're instantly drawn
into an incredible world of art and music that leaves you amazed throughout
the entire film.

De La Garza: Introspection -- the real curse of Y2K I know we've all been subjected to the pre-Y2K hype, coverage of the
24-hour Y2K celebration, post-Y2K musings and enough "definitive Top 10
of the millennium" lists to last another millennium. But the real "millennium
madness" isn't about all that. It's about self-evaluation.
Thompson: Birth of a new nation Whether one agrees that the year 2000 is the beginning of a new age
or the end of an old one, it is impossible for us to disregard that past
discoveries and mistakes, triumphs and injustices that define humankind
as it exists today.

team? It was obvious in the eyes of the Cougars before Saturday night's
game at Hofheinz Pavilion. UH had that look in its eyes -- the look of
a team poised to make the Tulane Green Wave its first victim of the young
Conference USA schedule.
W. Basketball captures third straight with UNCC win Although it began the new year with a loss, the UH women's basketball
