University of Houston students have until 7 p.m. today to cast their ballots in the 1996 Students' Association Senate election.
Seventy students, either independent candidates or members of four political parties, are competing to represent the UH student body in 37 SA executive and Senate positions.
Voter tabulations will begin immediately after the polls close at 7 p.m. today. Election commission officials will count the votes in the University Center Bayou Room.
Election results will be posted in the UC World Affairs Lounge at 3 p.m. Friday.
Run-off elections, if necessary, will be held March 20-21.
