Liar Liar

** (out of **** stars)

Jim Carrey does it again in this comedy about a lying attorney. Carrey plays the role of Fletcher Reede, a hotshot attorney who believes that truth in a courtroom is negotiable. Bending the truth is his way of winning true justice.

What makes Fletcher a good lawyer also makes him an unreliable father to his son Max, who decides to wish for Fletcher not to be able to lie for just one day.

Fletcher's world seems to change with his inability to tell a lie. It seems to affect everyone around him as well.

Tom Shadyac's first directing role was in Carrey's hit Ace Ventura. Now he teams up again with Carrey for Liar Liar and produces that unique physical comedy that has captured the attention of audiences.

Carrey really puts on a show. Even though he still has that touch, it is combined with sappy moments of love between a father and son. It isn't a great effort, but Carrey was still able to perform his buffoon act. You should be satisfied. Honest.
