The Houston Cougars baseball team travels to Waco today to face the Baylor Bears at 6 p.m. at Ferrill Field.
Senior pitcher Scott McLeod (1-0) starts on the mound for the Cougars. McLeod earned his first win in four starts against Texas A&M March 19 at Cougar Field. The right-handed hurler has a 7.41 ERA in 17 innings of work.
Baylor (9-6 in Big 12 play) was ranked 23rd in the nation in the Baseball America poll, but dropped out after a 2-2 stretch last week.
