The Uninvited, an evening-length dance theater duet by Seattle's choreographing sisters Dayna and Gaelen Hanson, has its Houston premiere with two performances at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15 for the general public, $10 for members and $7 for students and seniors.

Multimedia artist Lázaro Saavedra, one of the strongest critics of the Cuban government, will display works he produced during his Houston residency through Saturday. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. Admission is free.

A.D. Players' production of The Diary of Anne Frank, a coming-of-age saga about a young Jewish girl whose family is forced into hiding to escape the wrath of Hitler, opens Friday and runs through May 18.

The production is dedicated to the city's estimated 700-plus Holocaust survivors, victims and families, and a number of events are scheduled to coincide with the play, including a reception today at the Holocaust Museum Houston for Houston's Jewish leaders, the Israeli Consulate and museum directors and staff.

Performances of Anne Frank are at 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Tickets are $15 to $19, and student rates are available.
