Funeral services for University of Houston junior communication major Stacey Leon Ellis, found dead in his apartment Monday, have been announced.
The funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the New Zion Temple, 1601 Ruthven.
The New Zion Temple is located at the corner of Ruthven and Gillette streets, about halfway between West Dallas and West Gray streets. Its phone number is 651-1352.
Ellis' wake will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the James Stripling Funeral Home, 1402 Cleburne.
The Stripling Funeral Home is located at the corner of Cleburne and Austin streets, near Main and Richmond. Its phone number is 526-0091.
Donations may be made to a memorial fund in Ellis' name at Sterling Bank. The account is called "In Memory of Stacey Ellis," and the account number is 091001841.
