Wheel of Fortune tickets available

Cougar news services

The wheel of fortune will spin in favor of 250 University of Houston students who will be able to watch a taping of the popular television game show Wheel of Fortune Sunday, April 26.

KHOU-TV Channel 11 has set aside 250 student tickets for the VIP section of the two April 26 tapings, which will be held at 4 and 8 p.m. in the George R. Brown Convention Center downtown.

Doors will open at 2:15 p.m. for the first audience and at 6:45 p.m. for the later taping.

Anyone wishing to attend one of the tapings should call UH OnCall at (713) 743-2255 by 4 p.m. Friday, April 17. Planners stress that students who call and reserve tickets must actually plan to attend the taping.

Tickets will be issued to the first 250 people to call in, and they may be picked up by Tuesday, April 21, at the OnCall office, Room 332, McElhinney Hall. A valid UH ID is required.

Students attending the taping will be there to show Cougar pride, and thus are expected to wear school colors (red and white) or T-shirts, caps or other clothing that is UH-related.

For more information, call UH OnCall.
