LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

Sharing his wisdom

Having great compassion for people with minuscule knowledge concerning God, I must continue to share wisdom. An article appeared in the April 29 issue of the Cougar which insisted we, as children of God, stop shining God's marvelous light on the dark and sinful ways of this world. Wesley Cordova, the author, also insisted that we, as believers in Jesus Christ, stop saying there is only one way to God.

Whenever God is taken out of anything, total chaos erupts. For example, prayer was taken out of school and children have become killers; the government has excluded God from laws and now we think sin is right; and people exclude God from themselves and burn in hell forever. I will never take God out of my conversation because He is all, in all. Jesus is our escape from hell. Therefore I can't stop trying to save people's lives!

Concerning the various religions, God is not real only because I believe in Him. Even if I did not believe Jesus was God, He would still be God. Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives were the only people to survive the great flood. God saved eight people out of the whole world only because they believed in him. God doesn't count numbers, He makes numbers count. The same way Noah begged everyone to get on the ark in order that they might be saved from the flood is the same way true Christians are begging this whole world to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior in order that they might be saved from the fire.

The rainbow is God's assurance to his children that He won't end the world with water, but with fire, next time, and I find it rather ironic that homosexuals have chosen that very same emblem as their trademark. Jesus loves you, and so do I.
