Several offices to be closed for Independence Day

Most Information Technology offices and facilities will be closed July 3 during the university holiday in observance of Independence Day.

The Central Site computing center will also be closed July 4 and will resume normal operating hours Sunday morning, July 5.

Although the Computing Center will be closed Friday, operators will be present to help with special requests, to reboot systems and to answer messages sent to the operator console.

The schedule for the July 4th holiday is as follows:

Computing Center: Entrance 17. Closes 11:59 p.m. July 2, opens 12:01 a.m. July 4.

Central Site: Social Work Building. Closes at 11:45 p.m. July 2, opens 8 a.m. July 5.

Center for Advances in Teaching and Technology: M.D. Anderson Memorial Library.

Closes 5 p.m. July 2, opens 1 p.m. July 6.

IT Support Center/Help Desk: Closes 5 p.m. July 2, opens 8 a.m. July 6.

University Media Services: M.D. Anderson Memorial Library. Closes July 2, opens 8 a.m. July 6.

The university will re-open Monday, July 6.
