Teaching excellence: The deadline for nominations for the university Teaching Excellence Awards is 5 p.m. today. Faculty nominees must be tenured or tenure-track with two academic years of teaching experience. TA/fellow nominees must be enrolled as graduate students and have held their jobs for at least two academic semesters. All must be teaching during the spring 1998 semester.
