Students walking out of business school these days are learning the
hard way that what goes up must come down -- including fat-cat salaries,
signing bonuses and any expectation of getting them.
Friday night I went to a party thrown by my girlfriend's school. Neither
of us go to parties very often, and this weekend we were both reminded
as to why.
For approximately two weeks a year, the Astrodome-based Houston Livestock
Show and Rodeo features some of the top country music acts around.
The UH men's basketball team, unable to rally back from a five-point
halftime deficit, lost its regular season finale 65-62 to the Marquette
Golden Eagles at Hofheinz Pavilion Saturday.
The dog days of January
