Sum of UH funding request remains in limbo Campus prepares for '99 Fiesta

Though UH will receive an increase in formula funding from the state
Legislature for the coming two years due to increases in enrollment over
the previous biennium, the fate of the school's total funding request still
has to be hashed out in a conference committee.

What ended up being an awesome concert by the end of the evening nearly
became a complete disaster, as Chris Robinson, lead singer of The Black
Crowes, threatened to walk off the stage and end the show.
Spring practice for the UH football team has just about wrapped up and
head coach Kim Helton was kind enough to share his thoughts on the team's
progress with The Daily Cougar
