Cougar First Impressions, the welcome program for freshmen at the University,
is seeking staff volunteers to help make its second year a success.
Last weekend was a chance for me to recapture lost youth. Those who
weren't old enough to have a youth to recapture had an opportunity to create
one.
Snoop Dogg was fed up. Real-life violence seemed to be taking over the rap world, and the Doggfather
wasn't havin' it anymore.
The major-league baseball trading deadline came and went at midnight
Sunday, and as always, there were some surprises. But the news that came
out of the trading deadline wasn't so much who was traded to where, but
instead, who wasn't traded, and why.
Chivalry isn't dead
The University of Houston School of Theatre presents William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew Saturday at the Miller Outdoor Theatre.
