Senate Sees Resignations, Prepares for Spring |

Today's Top Stories In its last meeting of the Fall semester, the UH Students' Association Senate tied up loose ends to prepare for the spring semester and the SA election season. In Opinion Today . . . This is it, my friends. Finally, the end of possibly the worst semester ever is upon us. In Entertainment Today . . . 'Tis the season for compilations. Metallica, however, has put forth some effort to make an album that is more than your average sad gift idea. In Sports Today . . . Fresh from back to back wins, the University of Houston basketball team will see how it responds to their first road trip. They will play California tonight (9:30 CST) and Sacramento State Saturday afternoon (4 CST). All games will be broadcast on 740 AM. This Week's Feature There are many reasons why someone would want to jump out of airplane -- the adrenaline rush, the chance to tell people "I went skydiving" or to fulfill a death wish. |
