Imagine getting a call from your boss asking, "How does it feel to be an Emmy winner?" That's what happened to Julianna Bray, a 1992 UH graduate who is beginning her career as a broadcast designer for KPRC-TV Channel 2. In Opinion Today . . . This month, I will graduate from UH. As I celebrate with my mother and Professor Mower, I have much to be thankful for. In Entertainment Today . . . You'll probably be doing a lot of shopping this month, but when you're driving from store to store, do you have any idea what to throw in the CD player to keep you in sync with the season? In Sports Today . . . So I'm sitting in the Dome on Monday. Scott Steiner comes out to talk and I can't help but think about how much I can't wait to get home and watch Raw. This Week's Feature It was black all around me. I didn't know where I was or where I was heading. I was scared and alone. Suddenly, I saw a light. As I decided to walk towards it, I wondered: Was I transcending into heaven? Was I crossing over from Earth into the great beyond? Then, like a flash of light, I remembered where I was. I was in a tunnel. And not just any tunnel, but the UH tunnel system.

Houstonians enjoy last week's unusually warm weather with local pigons at the entrance to the Houston Zoo. However, temperatures fell sharply Monday and are expected to remain cool throughout the weekend. |
