With 11-and-a-half months until the new year, the world is working to
prevent what could be the largest technological disaster of the modern
era: the failure of computer systems on Jan. 1, 2000.
I'm wondering if I'm sexist. I didn't used to think so, but these days
I'm not so sure.
I drive my father nuts. He refuses to ride in a car with me. It doesn't
bother him that I run yellow lights. It doesn't bother him that I curse
at other cars. He won't ride in the car with me because I am an infamous
"radio flicker."
After it was prematurely announced that Assistant Coach Trip Couch was
to resign from UH to join the baseball staff at Rice, it was re-announced
that he would be staying with the Cougars. Couch said he couldn't be happier
with his decision to stay.
