Due to late filing of payroll paperwork, more than 25 teaching and research
assistants in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics have not
been paid since mid-January.
You may have noticed the big money giveaways on our local channels.
When are these big giveaways scheduled? Why, right in the middle of their
newscasts. What an amazing coincidence!
The General, produced, directed and written by John Boorman,
is based on the life of Martin Cahill. This man became notorious in Ireland
for robbing and getting away from the authorities.
The UH baseball team has played five consecutive games in the last 10 days against teams ranked in the nation's top 10. The Cougars have won three of those five games consecutively. Two of
the wins, against Alabama and Texas, came down to extra innings as UH pulled
out dramatic victories with homeruns by Jason Pekar and Aaron Melebeck.
