'Irish Eyes Are Smiling'
A group on a float rolls through downtown Houston during the St. Patrick's Day parade Saturday. Crowds of Houstonians lined the streets to revel in all things green and Irish. The Board of Regents approved the appointment of Kathy L. Stafford as
vice president/vice chancellor of University Advancement for UH and the
UH System during a special meeting March 10.
In the last three months my gas bill has been considerably higher than
usual. Instead of getting my usual Cornnuts and a coke, I need to use that
money for an extra gallon of gas.
Every year beyond the shores of America there are hundreds and thousands
of films released by actors, directors and writers who are unknown here,
but have a wealth of talent and innovation.
The UH baseball team returned home from its 11-day Spring Break road swing last night, but it wasn't necessarily a choice decision. |
