in the state, there is less diversity among UH professors.
In the midst of one of the longest economic expansions in this nation's
history, the United States, the single remaining superpower and the most
influential nation on the planet, is being held hostage, economically speaking,
by OPEC, a Middle Eastern oil cartel.
It was nothing but non-stop music last week when the South-by-Southwest
regional music conference was held in Austin, showcasing many of Houston's
finest local bands as well as future star acts coming soon to a major venue
near you.
The sounds of thousands of tournament brackets crumpling and hitting the bottom of trash cans could be heard for miles. |
