Fitness Program: The Department of Campus Recreation Fitness Program has added two additional classes on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:15 to 1 p.m. These classes are free for students. Come by Room 102, Garrison, to register. For more information, call (713) 743-9500.

Library Exhibit: The UH Libraries Department of Social Collections and Archives presents "Reflections of Yesterday, Visions of Tomorrow," on display now until May 20 at the M.D. Anderson Library. For more information, call (713) 743-9754.

Scholarships: The UH Women's Association is now accepting applications for the 2000-2001 Mary Harding Hoffman Scholarships. Applications must be postmarked by March 31. For more information, call Sandy Siegel at (281) 488-2111.

More scholarships: The Women's Studies Program is now accepting applications for the Blanche Espy Chenoweth Graduate Fellowship ($2500), the Maud Smith Paddock Undergraduate Scholarship ($2500) and the Elizabeth Smith Chenoweth Undergraduate Scholarship ($2500). Yet another scholarship: The National Council for Minorities in Engineering, Inc., has announced a partnership between the United Negro College Fund and the Gates Millennium Scholars Program to award approximately 4,000 scholarships to low-income African Americans, Asian Pacific Americans, American Indians, Alaska Natives and Hispanic Americans. Applications are available in Room 23, E. Cullen, and are due March 15.

One more scholarship: The Bay Area Club of the Houston Alumni Organization is giving away a $1,000 scholarship for current UH students residing in the Bay Area.
