Thousands pack Buffalo Bayou Park for the Enron and 104.1 KRBE co-sponsored Enron Earth Day Festival on Saturday. The Student Government Association will begin a new era today with the
swearing-in of its top three executives.
After years of playing basketball in Melcher and Garrison, my body finally
said "Enough!" last week. It was not because I was in bad shape or because
I could not hit my jump shot. It was because of the air.
Friday night, the promising rain clouds loomed over downtown Houston
as flocks of goth kids lingered outside the Aerial Theater smoking clove
cigarettes and waiting for the night's two headlining bands Coal Chamber
and Type O Negative to step into the limelight.
Performing before a panoply of stars from the past, the UH men's track and field team was simply out of this world as it completed a stunning comeback to capture the win at the inaugural outdoor meet of the Tom Tellez Track. |
