Photography junior Brenna Abels stands beside her multi-panel photo exhibit, installed on the second floor of the Art and Engineering Annex. Photo-based works by Abels and other students from Monica Chau's photography class will be on display at the Fine Arts Building and ARA through next week as part of a class project called Out of the Box/Into the Street. On Saturday, voters in the Houston City Council's District H will choose
between two candidates with UH connections ? communication professor Gabriel
Vasquez and alumna Yolanda Black Navarro.
I recently saw End of Days, and I thought I'd give movie reviewing
a shot. I feel it necessary to share ? vent, if you will ? my opinion on
what I consider a rather over-hyped, ho-hum movie.
Eric Clapton does everything he can to gain more listeners with every
record he releases. What's so amazing is that he has been successful every
time.
The accolades continue to roll in for UH women's soccer defender Laura Repp. |
