Birthdays: lyricist Ira Gershwin (1896); actress Agnes Moorehead (1906); pianist Dave Brubeck (1920); singer Ben Watt (1962). Today Kwanzaa: The NAACP UH chapter will hold a Kwanzaa celebration Monday at 6 p.m. in the UC Bluebonnet Room. Everyone is invited. Tuesday Choirfest: United Campus Ministries of Houston presents "Christmas Choirfest," a free choir concert featuring several performing groups, at 7:30 p.m. in the large chapel of the A.D. Bruce Religion Center. A reception will follow in the upstairs lounge. Everyone is invited. Wednesday Holiday pot luck: The UH Women's Network will hold a holiday covered dish luncheon at noon in Room 323-T2, College of Technology.
