Giving the gift of life
Yvette Brawner, a UH senior and president of the Golden Key National Honor Society of the NAACP, donates blood at the UH Health Center on Monday. Those who think that art created through divine inspiration vanished
with the Gothic and Renaissance periods should check out a new group that
is offering an opportunity for artists wanting to express their spiritual
side.
Yesterday, a flier was passed around informing those of us in the Quadrangle
residence halls of a coming change to our rooms: They will add hinges to
our doors so that they will automatically close behind us.
Japanic put on an awesome show last Saturday at Instant Karma, where
the band was joined by opening acts the Groceries and Matty & Mossy.
In basketball, the "sixth man" is looked upon to add a needed scoring punch from the bench at any time, along with a deft long-range shooting touch or lightning-quick slashing ability. |
