Cougar
Magic carpet: The Muslim Students
Association showcased religious artifacts in an art and cultural exhibit
as part of Islamic Awareness Week at the University Center Arbor on Wednesday.
The first day of Student Government
Association elections started off with a solid turnout, but ended with
a dash of controversy.
Since the Victorian era, feminists
have accomplished a lot for women.
Back in those days, the story goes, men
adhered to the "Rule of Thumb," which allowed them to beat their wives,
provided the instrument used was no wider than the thumb.
It's been six years since the
Toadies' last album release, and fans should be excited to know that they
have come back from the water to rock the airwaves once again.
The Cougars have had all kinds
of problems at home this season, but, suddenly, Hofheinz Pavilion seems
to be turning into friendly confines as the Cougars won their second consecutive
game at home. They have now been victorious in three of their previous
four games.
