Renovations of the M.D. Anderson
Memorial Library, which are expected to begin next spring and end in the
fall of 2004, will add a new face, a new entrance and a new wing to the
building.
Last week, I wrote about what
it's like in the real world, that plans and aspirations don't end when
you get your degree. Oh, no. That's just the beginning.
New York radio DJ Angie Martinez'
debut album, The Up Close and Personal Project, doesn't prove that
she has rhyming skills. It doesn't prove she can hang lyrically with her
female peers, and it does not prove that she has a long-lasting future
ahead of her as a rapper.
The NFL draft came and went in
two short days. Some saw their childhood fantasies come true while others
saw their dreams come to a crashing halt. A few teams positioned themselves
for a title run, while others solidified themselves as pretenders.
