Top Ten Ways to Beat the Heat, No. 4: Amber

Alexander Brown has served as
the department's academic coordinator for excellence in its Student Athlete
Support division since 1994. According to the suit, he applied for the
position as associate athletics director (the position directly superior
to his) in July 2000.

playing basketball in the city of Houston?
Inspired by the true gardening
exploits of British prisoners, Greenfingers is a touching story about how
a man turns his life around by planting a few seeds. The story will please
audiences with a few laughs and a couple of heartfelt moments.
UH and Rice fans can drop a few dollars while sinking their
putts in the first annual Bayou Bucket Shootout on Aug. 31. The fund-raiser
will help refurbish area high school weight and locker rooms and provide
money for scholarships in preparation for the UH-Rice football game on
