staffer files racial bias lawsuit
A UH Athletics Department staff member
filed a racial discrimination lawsuit in Houston federal court Friday claiming
that he was passed over for a promotion because he is black.

gift benefits pharmacy students
The Eckerd Corporation Foundation has agreed
to donate $25,000, to be paid over five years, to the UH College of Pharmacy
in an effort to support future pharmacists.
