Athletics staffer files racial bias lawsuit

A UH Athletics Department staff member filed a racial discrimination lawsuit in Houston federal court Friday claiming that he was passed over for a promotion because he is black.

Eckerd gift benefits pharmacy students

The Eckerd Corporation Foundation has agreed to donate $25,000, to be paid over five years, to the UH College of Pharmacy in an effort to support future pharmacists.

Ramos, who served as president of the Republic of the Philippines from 1992 to 1998, spoke at a breakfast meeting of the Asia Society Texas Group.
