Film about gardening inmates lacks flair

Inspired by the true gardening exploits of British prisoners, Greenfingers is a touching story about how a man turns his life around by planting a few seeds. The story will please audiences with a few laughs and a couple of heartfelt moments.

Black Cinema Cafe offers new way to watch movies

In 1998, New York's Reggie Scott and Jeff Friday founded the first Black Cinema Cafe. The men used their homes as an informal forum for the screening and discussion of
independent black film; since then, BCC has expanded into a nationwide organization.
 

Chan and Tucker, new releases help break summer doldrums 

It's been a slow summer for movies by anyone's standards. Even expected blockbusters like Steven Spielberg's A.I. Artificial Intelligence have taken in much less revenue than expected (in fact, A.I. has already fallen out of the top 10 box-office list).
