C. W. "Paul" Chu, head of the Texas Center
for Superconductivity at UH, was named Monday as the next president of
the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. His term will begin
in July 2001.

USA Boxing referees, a master of ceremonies in a tuxedo, a rowdy, jeering
crowd and ring girls clad in slinky formal attire.
