One
week 'til finals
Lauren Wilson/The
Daily Cougar
Information Systems Technology
senior Bill Mathews enjoyed the cool weather Monday and studied outside
for an accounting test. Students preparing for finals in the coming weeks
will soon have the benefit of a 24-hour library on campus, which will begin
a trial run Nov. 29 through Dec. 12.
Less than a few months after its
approval by the Food and Drug Administration, universities have been hesitant
to stock the RU-486 abortion-inducing pill in on-campus clinics. Some have
carried the "morning after" drug, some are debating whether or not to and
some, like the UH health center, have even refused to allow its disbursement.

turkeys, we could at least be mildly thankful that the 2000 election appeared
to be coming to an end.

there is a showcase of progress in their music. The music and lyrics combined
portray a reinvention of their work.
There may be those of you who
think a team that goes 3-8 couldn't possibly possess any players who merit
accolades.

with such an abysmal record that these players deserve recognition. They
never quit, and their performance never wavered.
