Money

Students lined up at the
UC bookstore Wednesday to try to get money back for books by selling them
to the store. The bookstore is also offering a holiday sale of 25 percent
off several items through Dec. 15. Discount items include all University
clothing, hats and jewelry, among other items.
With all impeachment proceedings
aside, the Student Government Association went straight into business at
its meeting Wednesday night, passing legislation for the creation of a
geography major and minor and appointing a director of finance and an SGA
advisor.
Ever since the night of the non-election
election, I have maintained one theory: Either side will do anything to
win. The idea that either side would even try to approach this situation

If either side had dealt with this election fairly, they'd have lost, because
the other side would not have been fair. The incentives to cheat were simply
too great.
The ska/punk scene has dwindled
down to the level at which it was before it got hot. On the positive side,

for a taste of ska and punk.
A week of recognition for UH senior
linebacker Wayne Rogers continued Wednesday when he was named Conference
USA Co-Defensive Player of the Year.
