World AIDS Day: The World AIDS Day
Committee and the Wellness Center present a day of AIDS awareness events:
part of the AIDS memorial quilt will be on display from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
in the UC; speakers will discuss AIDS-related topics from 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. in the UC Arbor; and information tables will be set up at the UC and

Seminar: The Department of Chemical
Engineering will present David T. Allen of the University of Texas speaking
on the science of air quality testing in Texas at 10:30 a.m. in Room W122-D3,
College of Engineering. Admission is free.
Anime no Kai, a Japanese animation
club, will show a variety of Japanese animation films at the UC Satellite

Support: Project Support, a program
in the psychology department, will hold a holiday stocking drive through
Dec. 15 to benefit children of mothers who are, or have been, in, shelters
for battered women. Drop off stockings from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the hallway
across from the psychology office in the Heyne Building or in the Clinical
