Year 2000 musical offerings not all bad

Boy bands and teen pop princesses continued to dominate the charts while lesser-known, but more talented, acts burst onto the scene and appear to have staying power.

The year 2000 has been a very busy and exciting year in the music industry. Several bands released new albums and many of them were not that great. From veteran bands such as Limp Bizkit to newcomers Three Doors Down, music consumers were suckered into purchasing some albums this year that were not very good.

This movie critic has gone almost insane trying to pick the best five films released this year. Don't get me wrong, it's not that there are so many to choose from, it's because there is simply a very short list of truly great films out this year.
