Much like the inauguration of our 40th
President, Ronald Reagan, the inauguration of President George W. Bush
on Saturday marked the end of a hostage crisis that has gripped the United
States.

doubtlessly heard that expression a million times. You know it basically
means you should take a look at something or someone more closely before
pronouncing judgement on it.

My hopes are sinking and my heart is deflating
over George W. Bush's first days in office. He has finally shed his compassionate
façade by banning U.S. funding from being granted to international
family-planning groups that support abortion and counseling.
