When Marjorie Knoller was convicted of
murder for the mauling death of Diane Whipple, most Americans knew very
little about the case. Since
the conviction, however, that has changed
dramatically.
Jury
reaches contradictory verdict
When all was said and done, nothing about
Andrea Yates' crime or punishment made much sense, from the brutal, illogical
murders of her five
children all the way to the final sentencing
handed down by the jury.
Innocent
lives can't be rationalized
"If I don't know them, they don't exist."
That is my friend's rationale for why he cannot be bothered with the unknown
innocent casualties and
victims in foreign lands.
