SPC will decide editor of chief

The Daily Cougar will end more than week of uncertainty when the Student Publications Committee elects the next editor in chief of the student
newspaper during a specially called meeting at 3 p.m. today in the Mediterranean Room of the University Center Underground.

New fee will apply at Cougar Place


Cougar Place residents planning to remain in their rooms during the inter-session periods between the summer sessions and the spring and
fall semesters will have to pay the University of Houston as much as $300 more than the summer room and board rate for 2001. Residential
Life and Housing announced the extra fee in February.
