Not exactly Kobe-esque: Sophomore business
major Idris Arvie slams a basketball through the hoop Monday at the Athletics/Alumni
Center.
Gathering in a dimly lit — and
chilly — banquet hall, nearly 150 energy leaders, all with an interest
in oil and gas, met Thursday and Friday at the UH Hilton for the Fourth
U.S.-China Oil and Gas Forum. The forum is a partnership involving government
and companies from the United States and China. Industry leaders from the
two nations work together to develop reliable and economical success of
oil and natural gas.
I really don't like spiders. They're
creepy. I'm sure if you took the time to look into their beady little eyes,
you would see nothing but pure evil staring back at you from those orbs
of darkness.
No matter how appealing another
Cold War movie with heavy star power might seem, don't be tempted. K-19:
The Widowmaker, starring Harrison
Ford and Liam Neeson, is a big, stinky
bomb.
