Texans favor national policy

A recent statewide survey conducted by the UH Center for Public Policy has found that Texas falls below the national average in health care with
only 77 percent of Texans having health insurance coverage — 5 percent lower than the national average.
 

Future soccer stars to shoot at Robertson goals

The Houston Texans/Dallas Cowboys scrimmage has received the most attention, but it will be sandwiched between another sporting event
being held at Robertson Stadium — one with an international appeal. 
 

One-time talk show host returns


The silver-haired father of daytime talk television is back and tonight, he'll be in Houston. Phil Donahue, who earlier this month made a return to
talk TV on MSNBC, will tackle the Enron collapse and its effects on former employees during a live broadcast of Donahue at 7 p.m. at the Hobby
Center for Performing Arts.
