A dead blue jay was seen Monday morning in front of Steven Power Farish Hall by the Cullen Fountain. This was the second on-campus sighting of a dead blue jay in the past three weeks.

The city will flaunt its reputation as a leader in medicine and superconductivity when it plays host to top scientists, engineers and industrial leaders beginning Sunday.
 

Houston, Rice to have blood feud

They may be foes on the gridiron, but when it comes to saving a life, UH and Rice University will join hands to help donate blood to the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. But it will still involve competition.
