As UH students count down the days until the semester ends and freedom is theirs once again, one woman sits in her cell at the Federal
Detention Center and wonders if she'll be home in time for Christmas. Or New Year's or Easter, for that matter.

UH will observe World AIDS day with service, testing

Saturday is World AIDS Day, a worldwide recognition of the estimated 36.1 million people around the globe living with HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) or Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. The observance began in 1988.
