Baseball has hi its sights set on College World Series

The Houston baseball team will open the season next weekend at the Astros College Classic, held at Enron Field. The Cougars
will see if their practice pays off when they battle Baylor, Texas and Texas A&M.
 

Softball hopes to improve with experience and talent

The UH softball team is ready to compete in just its second year. With a healthy roster and a solid coaching staff, the Lady
Cougars will cover the diamond with an improved infield countered by a formidable offensive lineup.
 

Cougars fall to the 49ers at Hofheinz

With 15 seconds remaining in the game, Charlotte's Cam Stephens threw down a thunderous jam, capping off a solid 83-68
victory over Houston on Saturday.

Cougars can't keep up with A&M Aggies

The Houston swimming and diving team was narrowly defeated by the Texas A&M infants. The Aggies' team is comprised of
many freshmen, and managed a 151-128 victory over the Cougars.
