Rock
n' Roll and tragedy don't mix
I have a great idea. Let's have a concert.
Let's get all the protest singers of old together to sing their anti-war
anthems once more. Bob Dylan can sing lowin' in the Wind," Neil Young can
sing "Ohio," Country Joe can sing "Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die Rag." We
can all mourn once more the devastation the Vietnam War wreaked upon the
world.
Innocent
until proven otherwise
Former Enron chief executive Kenneth Lay
is scheduled to testify Tuesday at a congressional hearing. All of America
awaits the words that will come from his mouth, and many are doubtful that
any will come at all.
