Jason Reed looks on as Orlando Jones offers beads
to people celebrating Mardi Gras in Galveston on Saturday.
This is the first in a series of stories meant to highlight
certain individuals, dates and events in UH history as the University prepares
to celebrate its 75th anniversary.
The Pro-Life Cougars organization
is suing our University. Why? Apparently, its proposed choice of site to
put up the gigantic, nauseating anti-abortion display from Justice For
All was denied. It had wanted the place it put it up originally last March,
right in front of the library.
Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor has always said his band
is an ongoing project. The songs are works in progress, never completed
even when committed to tape. Through the years, Reznor has released numerous
EPs filled with remixes or alternative versions of songs.
The UH Cougars returned home to avenge their name when they
bolted like lighting past many of Conference USA's major contenders at
the Southwest Indoor Classics on Saturday.
