Grandson of Gandhi to speak Cougar News Services Everybody loves Gandhi. The grandson of the world's celebrated peace activist will offer his words on social justice and nonviolence in a speech at the Greater Houston Area Social Work Awards Breakfast. Arun Gandhi will deliver the UH Graduate School of Social Work Gerson David Lecture, titled "Justice Through the Eyes of My Grandfather," at the third annual event intended to honor the community's social work leaders. Arun Gandhi, who as a teenager lived with Mahatma Gandhi, will focus on his grandfather's philosophy of nonviolence and justice. Arun Gandhi founded the Mahatma K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence and currently works as a scholar at Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tenn. An admission fee of $55 will be charged for the awards
breakfast, held at 9:50 a.m. at the Hilton Ballroom.
