Regents OK $31 million
tuition, fee hike
A $31 million increase in tuition and fees for next year
was approved Thursday by the Board of Regents.

Aiming to make career planning services available to
members of UHis largest college, The College of Liberal Arts and Social
Sciences Career Center is having its grand opening today at 11:00 a.m.
in Room 110 of the Heyne Building.
Sen. Hatch to give law ethics
talk
U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), who oversaw the federal
judicial confirmation hearings last year as chairman of the confirmation
committee, will be on campus Monday for a lecture sponsored by the UH Law
Center.
SPC votes to extend yearbook editor
application deadline
The Student Publications Committee approved a motion
Thursday to push back the Houstonian editor in chief application
deadline to April 4.
