House bill seeks
to protect free speech
UHis free speech policies took a drubbing Wednesday in
the state Legislature as lawmakers debated how to regulate expression on
college campuses.

Church critic calls for full disclosure
Father Thomas P. Doyle, who in 1985 was the first to
blow the whistle on festering sexual abuse and pedophilia among members
of the Catholic clergy, spoke to a UH Law Center audience Wednesday, calling
for an open disclosure to resolve the scandal.
