Today

Fuel talk: Chemical Engineering will sponsor a free seminar, "Developing Solid-Oxide Fuel Cells That Operate on Real Fuels," by the University of Pennsylvaniais Raymond J. Gorte. It will be held at 10:30 a.m. in Rm. W122-D3, Cullen College of Engineering.

Celebrating children: The Child Care Center will celebrate the "Week of the Young Child" at 10 a.m. in the centeris courtyard. Students are welcome to watch the children release thousands of ladybugs into the courtyard.

Time to mingle: The Biology and Biochemistry Undergraduate Association will hold a student and faculty luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Rm. 102, University of Houston Science Center. For more information, e-mail bbua_uh@yahoo.com.

Health matters: The Allied Health Professions Society will hold an information session about becoming a physician assistant. Do you bleed Cougar red?: The Houston Alumni Organization, along with the Association of Rice Alumni, will host the "Silver Glove" blood drive. The drive, which will last until April 16, will come to campus April 10 in the Moody Towers Residence Hallsi commons area.
