Regents to tackle number of issues

Cougar News Staff

A Board of Regents meeting called for today is set to tackle a handful of administrative issues, ranging from real estate plans to personnel issues.

The meeting will break down into executive session after being called into order around 11:30 a.m. After the session deals with each section, the regents will present an executive report of their findings or judgements.

The agenda does not include items relating to the search for UHis next president. Arthur K. Smithis February announcement set his resignation for September.

The meeting, to be administered by Chairman George McDavid, Vice chair Morgan Dunn OiConnor and Secretary Michael J. Cemo, will include deliberations concerning possible gift and donation contracts.

The discussions will serve as an extension of those from the previous Board of Regents meeting held last week.
